The Electa bookstore, located in the Triennale Museum in Milan, was part of a series of interventions to renovate the image of the museum. The store specializes in architecture, graphics, design, photography and fashion, with a wide offer of publishers and design objects. The new concept creates an interactive installation, rather than a shop, engaging visitors to move around and experience the informal, cultural space. Bookshelves are arranged in a second skin: a white perforated metal, with a lightening effect, overlapping the existing walls, emphasizing the architecture. Exposition-related elements are freestanding objects, placed in the centre on movable wooden modules of different heights and shapes.
