Tropicalia

Plaiting is the outstanding feature of Tropicalia for Moroso, based on Antibodi’s design.

The geometrical frame, made of faceted steel tubing, is covered in a skilfully plaited composition: a precise pattern, alternating solids and voids according, creates a myriad of meticulous details for the eye. Each piece adopts a different personality, depending on its material: light-hearted and playful (plaiting in various colours of heavy metal-free polymer threads), sophisticated and luxurious (an indoor version with leather plaiting) or simple and elegant (a double HT polyester cords plaiting, in one or two colours). The collection counts a chaise longue, an armchair, two chairs (one with armrests), an outdoor bed and a swinging nest. The coloured versions use three strands in different shades, creating vibrant chromatic schemes.
