Roll

A design for Kettal, the intriguing shape of the Roll chair anticipated its name. The back support of the chair is indeed formed by horizontal padded rolls: the two upholstered, cylindrical shapes are connected by colourful straps, and look like they have been rolled up like mats and tied to a backpack. Framed by a graphical aluminium structure, the backrest becomes the focal point of the chair, the cushions its protagonist.
