Band Chair

The design concept behind the Band Chair for Kettal was a breakdown of structure, the ideation of an object designed using a set of pieces. Directly challenging the classic, sophisticated lines of furniture design, the chair becomes schematic, conceptual. The structure, with its repetitive angular shapes, gives centre stage to its raw materials: aluminium or teak wood, and parallel fabrics. Together with the dining chair, the Band collection also includes a club armchair.
