Band Armchair

The design concept behind the Band Armchair for Kettal is a breakdown of structure, and the ideation of an object designed using a set of pieces. Directly challenging the classic, sophisticated lines of furniture design, the chair becomes schematic, conceptual. The structure, with its repetitive angular shapes, gives centre stage to its raw materials: aluminium or teak wood, and parallel fabrics. Together with the armchair, the Band collection also includes a dining chair.
