Anatra Collection

Anatra is a playful experiment with the scale of weaving – a distinctive technique of Janus et Cie, for whom the collection was conceived. The goal was to balance lightness and durability, in a way that would translate the concept of comfort into generous and embracing seating solutions. The collection gets its unique look from the specific weaving technique, intricate and sturdy, yet loose enough to appear semi-transparent. A soft and inviting textured braiding wraps the frame gently, creating a permanence between solid and soft parts of the collection. Tables have a texture of their own, with powder coated aluminium frames paired with a choice of two sleek tabletops: a textured Alabama Ceramic or a classic Carrara marble. The Collection includes an armchair, a dining table, a lounge chair, a 3-seat sofa, a coffee table and a side table.
