Tessabit Menaggio store

First retail project signed by Patricia Urquiola for Tessabit, the Menaggio boutique was initially designed as a pop up store, while then became a shopping destination on Como Lake. The main concept lays on creating a domestic space that is relaxing, somewhere one can feel at ease in and connected with the ever-changing lake.
The project especially experiments with recycled fiberglass, a direct reference to the lake and its boats: a traditional material revisited in an ecological way with a fresh and innovative touch. In the palette, the characteristic rose of the lake’s villages takes central stage, connecting the inside to the outside.
