The Philadelphia Museum of Art hosted Patricia Urquiola: Between Craft and Industry, the first solo exhibition devoted to her work and philosophy. This 2017 exhibition showcased her versatility in creating either products, interiors, and architectural spaces. Her work fuses traditional modes of production with modern design. Curious and energetic by nature, she moves constantly between product and interior design as well as architecture, signing a wide range of products, in collaboration with international design houses. The exhibition also featured a number of her architectural commissions, in the form of photographs.
