The Small Hours is a new bathroom collection by Salvatori, designed by Patricia Urquiola. The project embraces simplified geometries, creating essential, defined forms that highlight the contrast between the refinement of steel and the natural beauty of marble. Through material cuts, thin surfaces, and subtle internal shifts, The Small Hours explores marble’s potential beyond traditional aesthetics. Urquiola uses steel as a binder, shaping volumes and surfaces to transcend mono-material design. The result is an unexpected fusion, where the solidity of marble and the smoothness of steel create a tactile and visual experience that transforms the bathroom into an evolving architectural space.
