This collection of basins, designed for Laufen, is characterized by its innovation and its elegance. The use of Laufen’s own Saphirkeramik allowed for a reduced thickness of the products, while retaining the typical resistance of the material. Thinness and uniformity then become distinctive features, giving apparent lightness to the weight. The cannettata texture covers the edges of the products, accentuating the severity of the volumes, yet allowing an unconventional refinement. Rigorous geometries accentuate the plans and enhance the movements of the water: the inclined bottom surface leads toward a transversal slot, which hides the drain with a simple gesture.
