Rigadino

Patricia Urquiola designs the Rigadino rug and brings an additional touch of unconventional elegance to the Cassina Details Collection, continuing the fil rouge inspired by the historical Venetian manufacturers of the Sestiere vases and the No Vanitas mirror. Made of wool, Rigadino reinterprets in a spectacular textile pattern the traditional striped motif typical of the Murano glasswork. A thick outline adorned with the characteristic black lines of the “rigadin” decoration, defines the irregular perimeter of the rug, resulting in a play of repeated intertwinings. A swirl of colour creates a sense of continuity with the Sestiere vases and the No Vanitas mirror by reproducing the same four colour combinations.
