Baco, a stool made of oak barrel staves, is the Italian name of the silkworm, of which it takes the original rounded shape. The use of such material is the main characteristic of a project intending to give a third life to wood. The stool is enhanced by the chromatic interplay between the purple inside the stool, and the natural and light oak colour outside. Baco is a design object developed in collaboration with the Fondazione Zegna. It will enrich the collection of items made by the San Patrignano Carpentry Shop, who provides jobs for young people on their recovery path, as cabinetmakers, weavers, decorators and blacksmiths.
