Lodha Lincoln Square is Patricia Urquiola’s first residential project in London. She designed the common areas and the building’s amenities, including the private club, pool, spa, library and children’s play area. The overall design concept is a new interpretation of the classic luxury feeling of Londoner spaces giving a more contemporary touch. Coloured glasses, timber woods, marbles and bronze metals are used throughout the different spaces, creating a warm atmosphere, with a strong sense of materiality. The bespoke bronze metal mesh chandeliers and metal grids, reminiscent of woven frabics, dominate the double height spaces, leading freely and smoothly to the central courtyard.
