Haworth – NeoCon 2026

On the occasion of NeoCon 2026, Patricia Urquiola presents two complementary projects for Haworth at THE MART in Chicago. In the Haworth showroom, she designs the overall installation, creating a setting that showcases the brand’s latest prototypes and product innovations, alongside an installation by Stephen Burks Man Made that explores new approaches to furniture, lighting and shelving. In the lobby, she curates the 2026 edition of Haworth DesignLab in collaboration with Paved States, transforming the space into an immersive exhibition featuring 13 North American designers. Conceived as a sequence of environments for working, meeting, reading and unwinding, the journey culminates in an atmospheric listening space, an intimate setting shaped by sculptural lighting, acoustic surfaces and deep tonal contrasts, where installation, interior and performance converge.
