With among-all, Patricia Urquiola presents an immersive installation at Heimtextil 2026 in Frankfurt that understands textiles as a living, responsive system. Conceived as an open, evolving ecosystem, the space responds to movement, materiality and human presence. The installation focuses on processes of transformation – between craft and technology, waste and resource. The project explores how sustainability can be integrated into design thinking from the outset, shaping form, construction, and use. Textiles are presented as evolving materials, capable of shifting between softness and rigidity, craft and industry, reuse and innovation, and opening new spatial, tactile, and environmental relationships.
